Daramy Proposes Key Investigative Lead in Jos Leijdekkers Inquiry

Abubakarr Daramy, former spokesperson for the All People's Congress (APC) Western Region, has urged investigators to prioritize identifying the individuals who facilitated Jos Leijdekkers' alleged access to a church service in Freetown.

During an appearance on Slik TV, Daramy emphasized a clinical approach to the investigation. He argued that tracing the logistics of movement and access is essential to addressing the significant public concerns surrounding the high-profile case.

"The investigation into Jos Leijdekkers should be straightforward," Daramy stated. "If I were conducting the inquiry, the primary question would be: who facilitated his entry into the church?"

The discussion follows reports of a New Year service attended by President Julius Maada Bio and other senior officials, where Leijdekkers was allegedly present. 

While Daramy refrained from making direct accusations, he maintained that understanding how individuals of interest navigate high-profile public settings is a critical line of inquiry.

Leijdekkers remains a figure of international interest due to alleged links to transnational organized crime. In Sierra Leone, his reported movements continue to stimulate intense public and political debate.

As of Daramy's remarks, official authorities have yet to issue a formal response regarding the specific investigative priorities he proposed.
