MSCF's kind Act in Port Loko District toward Muslim Community


In a demonstration of unwavering dedication to philanthropic endeavors, the Mary Scott Charity Foundation extended a helping hand to the Muslim community in Port Loko District, Sierra Leone.


A significant donation, comprising food items valued at over thirty thousand new leones, was generously provided by the foundation, emphasizing its unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized populations.



Named in honor of a respected Sierra Leonean medical practitioner based in the United States, the Mary Scott Charity Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to contribute positively to society. Board member Tamba Ngaujah Musa shared invaluable insights into the foundation's vision and ongoing initiatives.


Recipients of the donation expressed profound gratitude, especially considering the heightened expenses incurred during the holy month of Ramadan. The Regent Chief Foday Santigie Kanu eloquently conveyed the community's sincere appreciation for the benevolent act, acknowledging its significant impact on their lives.



During the event, the Mayor of the Port Loko District Council, Alieu Badara Tarawallie, reiterated his unwavering support for the Mary Scott Charity Foundation. He recognized the positive ripple effect of uplifting the city on the entire community.
