Bo Rangers extended their lead at the summit of the Leone Rock Premier League to seven points, following a decisive 2-1 victory over Star Sport Academy in a thrilling top-of-the-table fixture on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Southern Arena.
Mohamadu Lamin initiated the scoring in the 11th minute, granting the hosts an early advantage. Star Sport Academy mounted a strong resurgence in the second half, and their persistence was rewarded in the 75th minute when Abdulai A. Sannoh struck a spectacular long-range equalizer.
With the match seemingly headed for a draw, Bo Rangers Head Coach Alhaji Foray, known as "Abedi," made critical substitutions, bringing on Nelson F. Mbayo and the in-form striker Abu Komeh.
The changes proved instrumental, as Nelson F. Mbayo provided the assist for Komeh's dramatic 90th-minute winning goal, igniting widespread celebration at the Southern Arena.
Bo Rangers now maintain a solid seven-point advantage over second-place Star Sport Academy, with only eight matches remaining in the Leone Rock Premier League season.
