ACC Commissioner Receives 2026 West Africa Heroes Award

On May 9, 2026, the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Francis Ben Kaifala was presented with the West Africa Heroes Award at the Freetown International Conference Centre. 

This prestigious accolade recognizes his significant contributions to anti-corruption reforms, accountability, and transparency in Sierra Leone.

The Commissioner was honored alongside other notable figures, including Minister of Health Dr. Austin Demby and Chief Justice Komba Kamanda. 

This award adds to a series of international and local recognitions for the Commissioner’s leadership in strengthening institutional integrity and the rule of law.
