On June 5, 2025, Interswitch, in collaboration with the Bank of Sierra Leone, will host the second edition of the Sierra Leone Fintech Forum at New Brookfields Hotel, Jomo Kenyatta Road, Freetown, shaping the country’s digital financial evolution.
The theme, “Access, Inclusion and Growth – Deepening Digital Payments in Sierra Leone,” will gather fintech visionaries, banking leaders, regulators, mobile money operators, and changemakers to shape West Africa’s finance future.
Sierra Leone's financial landscape is evolving rapidly, with growing mobile adoption and digital transactions demanding inclusive, tech-driven solutions. The forum aims to align infrastructure, policy, trust, and collaboration.
Attendees can expect keynote sessions, panel discussions, Q&A segments, and product demonstrations, including Interswitch’s Agency Banking and Instant Card Issuance Solutions to expand financial access.
Two panel sessions will address “Banking Beyond Boundaries: Navigating Access, Inclusion, and Innovation in a Digital-First Economy” and “Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers: Unlocking Inclusive Growth Through Interoperable Digital Payments and Strategic Partnerships.”
These will explore adapting to underbanked populations and driving digital transformation through shared infrastructure and collaboration.
Building on the inaugural edition, this forum underscores Interswitch’s commitment to inclusive digital economies in Africa, fostering co-created solutions for digital payments, financial inclusion, and sustainable growth.
