The All Peoples Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Dr. Samura Kamara, and his running mate, Hon. Chernor Bah have today completed their nomination process at the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL).
The nomination process legitimizes the candidature of the Presidential aspirant and running mate of the All People's congress party for the forthcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Sierra Leone, which are scheduled to hold on 24th June 2023.
Dr. Samura Kamara is a seasoned diplomat and a technocrat with a wealth of experience in government and public service. He previously served as Sierra Leone's minister of Finance and Economic Development and was credited with steering the economy on a path of sustained growth before the the flooding and mudslide disasters.
Hon. Chernor Bah is an established politician with fifteen years service in the House of Parliament, rising up to the position of Sierra Leone's Deputy Speaker of Parliament and is credited with championing several youth-centered initiatives and policies during his tenure.
The APC's nomination of Dr. Samura Kamara and Hon. Chernor Bah is seen as a strategic move that reflects the party's commitment to delivering on its promises of winning of the 2023 election.
