Basketball Prodigy Sheriffa Rahman says her goals are in sight After BWB



Sierra Leonean basketball prodigy Sheriffa Rahman has credited her recent training in South Africa with Basketball Without Borders (BWB) for helping her to scale new heights in the sport.


Rahman, 16, is one of the most promising young players in Sierra Leone. She has been playing basketball since she was 10 years old and has quickly risen through the ranks to become a member of the national team.


Rahman's training with BWB was a valuable experience for her, as she learned new skills and techniques from some of the best coaches in the world. She also had the opportunity to meet and compete against other talented young players from around the world.



Rahman is confident that the skills she learned at BWB will help her to achieve her goals in basketball, which include playing college basketball in the United States and eventually playing professionally.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to train with Basketball Without Borders, it was a great experience, and I learned a lot. I am confident that the skills I learned will help me to achieve my goals in basketball.

Rahman is an inspiration to young people in Sierra Leone, and she is proof that anything is possible if you work hard and never give up on your dreams.
