Champions of Sierra Leone Premier League, Bo Rangers defeated LISCR FC 1-0 in Liberia on Sunday, August 27, 2023, to advance to the second round of the CAF TotalEnergies Champions League.
Suffian Kalokoh scored the only goal of the match, from close range, in the 2nd minute of the first half. The match was the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Bo Rangers had been forced to a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Southern , Arena , in Bo but this win on Sunday means that Bo Rangers advances to the second round of the competition.
Bo Rangers held on to their lead for the remainder of the match to secure the victory.
This is a great result for Bo Rangers, who are now one step closer to qualifying for the group stage of the CAF Champions League. They will face CR Belouizdad of Algeria in the second round.
