Combema Community Gets New Six-Classroom School, Ending 25 Years of Struggle

The Kenema District Council, with funding from the World Bank, has officially handed over a modern six-classroom school building, complete with a ten-door toilet, water facility, and solar-powered lights, to the Combema community.

The ceremony took place on October 10, 2025, and was attended by community members, council officials, and concerned citizens.

Chief Administrator Ahmed Koroma, who also chairs the development program, emphasized that the school is part of the council’s ongoing development initiatives. He urged the community to prioritize tax payments to support further projects and reminded residents that the school remains council property, subject to regular oversight.
