East End Lions Football Club has announced the appointment of Charlie Wright as its new head coach.
The club made the announcement on Twitter, stating, "We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Class A Coach Charlie Wright as our new Head Coach." Coach Wright will be responsible for leading the team and developing the youth team, working closely with Coach Raymond Hunter and other coaches."
The new season is expected to be competitive, with East Lions aiming to challenge for the title in the 2023/24 League Season. Coach Wright is no stranger to the country's top flight, having enjoyed a successful spell with FC Kallon Football Club since its inception in 2002.
