East End Lions have claimed the title of the 2025 SLFA Men’s Unity Cup champions following a decisive 2-0 victory against Bhantal FC in the final, which was contested at the Approved School ground in Freetown's East End on Friday, October 31, 2025.
The goals that secured the victory for "The Killers" were scored by Alusine Dumbuya in the 65th minute and Mohamed F. Koroma in stoppage time (90+5), with Kabba Timbo credited with a crucial assist.
The post-match ceremony saw East End Lions players receive their medals before SLFA Vice President 1, Badara Alie Tarawalie, formally presented the trophy to team captain Abdul Nyamekye, marking a significant achievement for the club and its dedicated fanbase.
This Unity Cup triumph provides an optimal foundation for East End Lions as they commence their 2025/26 Leone Rock Premier League campaign against Freetown City FC on November 8, 2025, at the Trade Centre playing field.
With elevated momentum and restored confidence, East End Lions are poised to capitalize on this success as they pursue the defense of their domestic league title in the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
