In a historic milestone for Sierra Leonean football administration, three female officiating officials from the country successfully took charge of a high-profile fixture in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone A Qualifiers.
The trio was appointed to officiate the match between Malian side USFAS and Senegalese club Aigles de la Médina, which took place in The Gambia.
Miriam Heroe led the administrative operations as the General Coordinator for the match. On the pitch, Agnes Abdul Gbla served as Assistant Referee 1, while Aminata Fullah stood as the Reserve Referee.
Their flawless coordination and professionalism throughout the continental club fixture have been widely praised, marking another significant achievement for the growing representation of Sierra Leonean women on the international sporting stage.
