Kenema Police Barracks Residents Applaud IGP Sellu for Timely Waste Cleanup

Residents of the Kenema Police Barracks have praised William Fayia Sellu for his swift intervention in addressing the long-standing waste pile within the barracks.


According to residents, the accumulated waste had posed serious environmental and health risks for families and officers living in the facility. They expressed gratitude to the IGP and the leadership of the Sierra Leone Police for responding promptly to their concerns and taking concrete steps to improve sanitation in the area.


Community members described the cleanup as a positive development that will contribute to a healthier and more comfortable living environment for police personnel and their families. They further urged the police administration to maintain regular sanitation and waste management practices to prevent similar issues in the future.
