Kholifa Stars drew 0-0 with Combined Stars from Freetown in a pre-season friendly match at the Mabguraka town field on Sunday. The match was watched by a large crowd of home fans, and Kholifa Stars coach Hassan Maddie Conteh was pleased with the performance of his players.
"It was a good game for us," said Conteh. "We were able to test some key players and give them some game time. We also created some good chances, but we couldn't find the back of the net. Overall, I'm happy with the performance."
Kholifa Stars will now turn their attention to their first Leone Rock Premier League match, which is against Bai Bureh Warriors on Sunday, November 4.
