Sierra Leonean midfielder Alpha Bedoh Conteh has been recognized by his club, Lokomotiv Plovdiv, for his outstanding performance in the Bulgarian First League.
The Sierra Leonean international has been in impressive form for Lokomotiv this season, scoring two goals against Slavia and providing three assists in 12 appearances. He has also been impressive defensively, averaging two tackles and 1.5 interceptions per game.
Conteh's performances have helped Lokomotiv Plovdiv climb to the top of the Bulgarian First League table. They are currently two points clear of second-placed CSKA Sofia with 10 games to play.
Locomotiv Plovdiv boss Aleksander Stankov heaps praise on Conteh, saying he is a "fantastic player" and has been a "revelation" for the club this season.
"He is strong, skillful, and has a great eye for goal. He is also a very intelligent player and he is always looking to make the right decision," Stankov said. "I am very happy to have him in my squad and I am confident that he will continue to play a big role for us in the future."
Conteh is a rising star in Sierra Leonean football and is one of the most exciting young players in the Bulgarian First League. He will be hoping to continue his good form and help Lokomotiv Plovdiv win the league title this season.
