Mohamed Kai-Samba Appointed Chief Scout for Kamboi Eagles Football Club

Kamboi Eagles Football Club, based in Kenema, has officially appointed Mohamed Kai-Samba as the team’s new Chief Scout.

The appointment, announced on Monday, 6th October 2025, marks a strategic move to strengthen the club’s player recruitment and development structures.

Kai-Samba is a well-known figure in Sierra Leone’s football ecosystem, serving as CEO of K & K Football Academy and as a scout for the prestigious D’Alessandro International Scouting Platform in Italy.

Hailing from Kenema District, Kai-Samba brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of both local and international football talent scouting. The club expressed confidence that his expertise will play a vital role in identifying top prospects and nurturing emerging players for the Eagles.

Speaking on the appointment, Team Manager Emmanuel Elogima Vandi said the club is delighted to welcome Kai-Samba on board.

“We are excited about this appointment. Mohamed’s vast experience and strong scouting network will help us strengthen the team both on and off the field,” Vandi stated.

He added that the club is optimistic about the future of its scouting operations under Kai-Samba’s leadership, particularly in discovering and developing homegrown talent across Sierra Leone.
