The 2025/2026 Leone Rock Premier League commenced with a commanding performance on Sunday, November 9, 2025, as FC Kallon secured a decisive 3–1 win against Mighty Blackpool at the Approved School Field in Freetown.

The fixture was particularly significant for the Kallon family, marking the official professional debut of Mohamed S. Kallon Jr, son of the club's owner and founder, Mohamed Kallon (Snr). Kallon Jr entered the match in the second half, replacing goal-scorer Christopher Bangura, thereby beginning his career under the guidance of his father.

FC Kallon maintained control throughout the match, exhibiting superior attacking organization and tactical discipline. Captain Sallieu Tarawallie initiated the scoring in the 22nd minute, followed by an Ishmael Sheriff goal that doubled the lead before halftime.

Christopher Bangura extended the lead to 3–0 in the second half, capitalizing on a precise assist from Unisa Dumbuya, shortly before the substitution for Kallon Jr. Although Mighty Blackpool's Daniel Conteh managed a late consolation goal, FC Kallon's defense held resolute, ensuring a comfortable victory and an ideal start to their league campaign.

Mohamed Kallon Jr's debut was a major talking point, symbolizing the ongoing legacy of the Kallon family within Sierra Leonean football. Under the management of Coach Charlie Wright, FC Kallon demonstrated a potent combination of youthful talent and veteran experience, firmly establishing themselves as strong contenders for the 2025/2026 Leone Rock Premier League title.
