Njala University Builds Awareness Ahead of Proposed Pujehun Campus

The Centre Coordinator for Njala University Distance Education, Thomas Vandy Sannoh, has engaged pupils of Saint Stephen’s Technical and Vocational Secondary School (SSTVSS) in Gobaru, Kpanga Krim Chiefdom, Pujehun District, to encourage them to pursue higher education at the university’s proposed Pujehun Campus.

According to TVS, the engagement aimed to inform and motivate pupils about university education opportunities and encourage them to consider Njala University as they pursue their academic ambitions.

highlighted the importance of higher education in developing the knowledge, skills and professional competencies needed to contribute to national development. He urged the pupils to take their studies seriously, remain focused on their academic goals and work hard to meet university admission requirements.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for the pupils to learn about the potential benefits of accessing tertiary education within Pujehun District and surrounding communities.

Sannoh noted that the proposed Njala University Campus in Pujehun could make higher education more accessible to local students while reducing some of the financial and logistical challenges associated with studying far from home.

He added that the engagement forms part of efforts to raise awareness about the university’s planned presence in the district and encourage prospective students to take advantage of future enrolment opportunities at the proposed campus.
