Rodney Michael Steps Down as Mighty Blackpool Chairman After Five Years

Chairman of Mighty Blackpool Football Club and former Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) presidential aspirant, Rodney Michael, has officially resigned from his position after five years of leadership.

During his tenure, Rodney Michael was credited with introducing reforms aimed at strengthening the club’s administrative and technical structures while helping to rebuild its competitive standing. His leadership focused on improving club operations, promoting professionalism, and investing in player development.

Under his guidance, Mighty Blackpool maintained a commitment to transparency, accountability, and long-term growth as the club sought to restore its position as one of Sierra Leone’s most historic football institutions.
