Sierra Leone throwball competition to commence this July



The Sierra Leone throwball Association has held a meeting with their players on Friday, July 14, 2023, to motivate them and set strategies for them, ahead of the upcoming internal competition.


Vice President Dr. Rev. Titus Sesay and Technical Director Major Kanu urged the players to keep up the zeal and to believe in themselves, that their hard work will guarantee their success.


Keep on the zeal, in no time, your expectations will come to pass, and everybody will be happy

Kanu added, "This is a chance to showcase your talent in front of our authorities. So put in your best effort and make us proud"

The players were inspired by the pep talk from Sesay and Kanu.


They expressed confidence that they will be successful in the upcoming competition, which is scheduled to take place at the Military Headquarters Cockrill on July 28, 2023.




The competition will feature 10 teams from across the country. The teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the finals.




The winner of the competition will be crowned the Sierra Leone Throwball Champion.

The players are excited to compete and to show off their skills.


They have been practicing hard for the competition, and they are confident that they will be victorious.
