Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara has intensified his drive to bolster women's football, taking his campaign directly to the doors of one of the nation's premier mining entities, Marampa Mines Limited.

Accompanied by key football officials, President Kamara made a strategic visit to the mining giant's Port Loko headquarters on Wednesday. His mission was clear: to secure crucial sponsorship for the burgeoning Women’s Premier League, a cornerstone of the SLFA's development agenda.

The SLFA supremo was warmly received by Marampa Mines' Managing Director, Angula Kalili, and Finance Director, Simba Michaela. Discussions proved highly productive, with both parties expressing significant interest in forging a partnership poised to revolutionize the landscape of women's football across the country.

This proactive engagement is a vital component of a broader initiative aimed at integrating corporate Sierra Leone into the sustained development and growth of national football.
