SLFA President Kamara Attends Key CAF Meeting in Morocco

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, participated in a high-level meeting with Presidents and General Secretaries from the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) 54 Member Associations. The meeting was convened by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe in Morocco.
Held concurrently with the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Final between Senegal and the host nation Morocco, the event served as a strategic forum for discussing the future expansion and development of African football.
Key agenda items included policy direction, governance frameworks, competition structures, and sustained investment in continental football development. President Kamara's presence highlights Sierra Leone's dedication to proactive engagement within CAF and its commitment to reinforcing its role in continental football affairs.
The 2026 AFCON Final attracted global attention, uniting football administrators, stakeholders, and supporters, thereby underscoring Africa's increasing influence on the global football landscape.
