Sportsmanship on Display: Kahunla Queens Welcome Bamoi Queens for SLFA Play-offs

In a notable show of solidarity, the management of Kahunla Queens extended a warm welcome to the Bamoi Queens delegation on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, providing full accommodation and support as the team arrives in Kenema for the upcoming Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) National Women's Play-offs.
The visiting delegation, consisting of 22 players and 12 officials, received the support of 15 bundles of water and half a bag of rice to assist with their stay.
Kahunla Queens Chairman, Mr. Umaru Duxon Koroma, greeted the team upon their arrival, encouraging the players to focus on their upcoming performance with confidence. "This gesture reflects Kahunla Queens' commitment to supporting fellow female football clubs and ensuring their stay in Kenema is comfortable," Koroma stated, emphasizing the club's dedication to sportsmanship.
Representatives from Bamoi Queens expressed their gratitude for the warm reception. The club’s chairman described the hospitality as a "kind and memorable gesture," adding that the support was deeply appreciated by the entire team. Bamoi Queens head coach, Mohamed Sesay, also known as Coach Tito, echoed these sentiments, thanking the Kahunla Queens management for their generosity and encouragement.
As the Bamoi Queens prepare to begin their campaign on July 12, 2026, Chairman Koroma extended his best wishes for their success in the upcoming competition.
The team’s opening opponent for the play-offs is yet to be confirmed.
