In a captivating and fiercely contested match at the Parade Playing Field, Summer City secured a dramatic victory over Central Community, advancing to the quarter-finals of the prestigious Central One Football Association (COFA) inter-area competition following a tense penalty shootout.


The atmosphere was electric, with a capacity crowd generating a deafening roar. Both communities provided passionate support, waving banners and chanting throughout the 90 minutes of regulation play and the subsequent extra time.


The match itself proved to be a tactical battle and a defensive masterclass, ultimately ending in a stalemate. Central Community's goalkeeper, Martin Decker, delivered an outstanding performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.



Summer City consistently controlled possession, orchestrating their attack through the creative play of Alpha Jor Kamara and the pace of Randy Mike George. They registered several promising attempts, including a fierce strike that narrowly missed the target before halftime.
