The wife of Sierra Leonean forward Musa Noah Kamara, commonly known as 'Musa Tombo,' has extended an apology to the Tunisian top-flight club CS Sfaxien for her husband's unexpected absence.
Kamara, who recently committed to joining the Tunisian giants, was scheduled to undergo a medical examination with his new team.
His wife explained that Musa was unable to travel due to the recent passing of his father, which has caused him considerable emotional distress. Memunatu Sow had revealed this information on her social media handle earlier today.
She assured the club that her husband is "very happy and excited to be part of CSS" and promised his arrival in Tunisia within a week.
The 25-year-old Bo Rangers FC forward was expected to travel to Tunisia shortly to sign a potential three-year contract. This development is a setback, as several reports from Tunisian news outlets had indicated that the deal was progressing smoothly, with finalization anticipated by midweek.
This move would have marked Kamara's return to the international stage, in addition to his time on the national team, following a previous stint in Libya with Al Ittihad SC.
