Bai Bureh Warriors FC have secured a landmark achievement in the club's history by completing their first-ever season double over district rivals Bullom Stars FC. The Port Loko-based club demonstrated tactical superiority by defeating their opponents both at home and away during the current campaign.

The Warriors delivered a definitive performance at the Port Loko Stadium, earning a comprehensive 3-0 victory. From the opening whistle, the home side maintained significant tactical control, effectively dominating possession and creating numerous high-quality scoring opportunities.

The deadlock was broken by Andrew A. Bangura, who clinically converted a precise cross from Koliko P. Haba. Haba's contribution further underscores his reputation as one of the league's most consistent performers this season.

Bullom Stars attempted to mount a comeback, nearly equalizing when Fasineh Sylla found space in the box; however, his strike narrowly missed the target, preserving the hosts' advantage.

The Warriors subsequently extended their lead through a spectacular set-piece. Amidu A. Bangura executed a brilliant free-kick that left the opposition goalkeeper stationary, further solidifying the home side's dominance.

The victory was finalized by substitute Santigie Kamara, whose composed low strike into the bottom corner secured the three points and a memorable result for the Port Loko faithful.

Under the technical leadership of head coach Francis Zappa Koroma, Bai Bureh Warriors continue their impressive trajectory, currently occupying 4th place in the league standings with 35 points.

Conversely, Bullom Stars FC will look to recalibrate their season, as they sit with 23 points after 21 matches.
