Bamoi Queens Launch Intensive Training Ahead of National Women's Play-Offs in Kenema

The Bamoi Queens have officially commenced their final preparations for the upcoming Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) National Women's Play-Offs, scheduled to begin on July 12, 2026, in Kenema.

The squad has undertaken a rigorous training regimen designed to sharpen tactical execution and enhance on-field coordination. Training sessions have focused on technical drills and match readiness as the team vies for one of the two coveted promotion spots to the Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League for the upcoming season.

With five ambitious clubs competing for only two available positions in the top tier, the pressure is high, but the Bamoi Queens remain focused on their goal of making history for the club.

Head Coach Mohamed Sesay expressed significant confidence in his team’s preparation and their ability to perform under pressure during the tournament.

"We are in Kenema with 22 players and 8 team officials for the National Women's Division (1) Play-Off," Sesay stated.

"We respect our opponents, but we are here to put up a strong fight and book our tickets to Sierra Leone's top-tier women's football."
