Ports Authority FC and Wilberforce Strikers FC settled for a 1-1 draw in their Match Week 33 fixture of the Leone Rock Premier League, played on July 6, 2026, at the Approved School Playing Field.
The hosts made a flying start, taking the lead in the 3rd minute when Abass Conteh rose highest to head home a cross from Mohamed Bangura and give Ports Authority a 1-0 advantage.
Wilberforce Strikers responded swiftly, with Osman Koroma finding space just four minutes later before firing past the goalkeeper to restore parity at 1-1.
Both sides created chances to take the lead before halftime, but solid goalkeeping at both ends ensured the teams went into the break level.
Wilberforce Strikers dominated possession after the restart and applied sustained pressure on the Ports Authority defence. Randy M. George and Osman Koroma repeatedly threatened the hosts, but goalkeeper Stevens N. Momoh produced a series of outstanding saves to keep his side in the contest.
Ports Authority looked dangerous on the
counterattack and nearly snatched a winner in the 85th minute, but failed to convert their late opportunity.
The match ended 1-1, with both teams settling for a point ahead of the final round of the season. Wilberforce Strikers will host Luawa FC, while Ports Authority will travel to face FCFC in their final Leone Rock Premier League fixture.
