In a highly competitive fixture of the Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League 2025/2026, Sierra Leone Police Female FC earned a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Vem Buck FC on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The encounter was characterized by high-level tactical play and significant individual contributions.
Abibatu B. Bangura delivered a standout performance, recording a hat-trick to anchor her team's offensive success. Bangura opened the scoring in the 7th minute following an assist from Kai Sesay. She extended the lead in the 26th minute, assisted by Diariou Diallo, and subsequently completed her hat-trick in the 41st minute, ensuring a commanding position for Sierra Leone Police Female FC heading into the interval.
Vem Buck FC demonstrated resilience throughout the match. Gbassay Kamara briefly equalized in the 11th minute after converting a pass from Precious Z.H. Marah.
