Bhantal FC offsets East End Lions in Dramatic Finish at New Sierra Leone FA Turf

Bhantal FC secured a remarkable 2-1 triumph over East End Lions in the inaugural fixture played on the newly constructed artificial turf at the Sierra Leone Football Academy Field located in Kingtom.

Marking the commencement of the second round of the Sierra Leone Premier League, the match saw East End Lions take the lead through Sulaiman S. Kargbo in the 59th minute. However, Bhantal FC demonstrated resilience, equalizing through a penalty converted by Mohamed Bangura in the 80th minute.

The drama continued deep into stoppage time, with Mohamed A. Kamara scoring the winning goal for Bhantal FC in the 94th minute, sparking jubilation among their players and supporters.

The encounter showcased the exceptional technical abilities of both teams, featuring some of the league's most talented players. Bhantal FC's victory serves as a testament to their determination and resilience, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of football.
