Young athletes at the Kuraish Football Foundation (KFF) were given a significant boost this week following a surprise visit from Blackburn Rovers FC and Sierra Leone international striker, Augustus Kargbo.

The impromptu appearance provided the academy’s players with a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of the nation’s top professional footballers. During his time at the academy, Kargbo spent the session interacting with the youth, offering encouragement and personal advice. 

He urged the young players to prioritize discipline, maintain a strong work ethic, and remain steadfast in their pursuit of professional football careers.

The visit generated considerable enthusiasm within the academy, as players and staff alike welcomed the chance to learn from Kargbo's professional journey. Academy officials lauded the striker's humility and his commitment to mentoring the next generation, describing the event as a landmark moment for the program.

The Kuraish Football Foundation, which operates under the motto "More Than Football – Building Future Leaders," continues to emphasize the integration of education, leadership, and discipline alongside technical athletic training.
