Bo Youths Demonstrate Patriotism Through Stadium Cleaning Exercise
The National Sports Authority (NSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports (MoS), on Saturday, September 12, 2026, organised a cleaning exercise at the Bo Stadium.
More than 500 young men and women from the Green Ladies and Green Men Vanguard Organisation in Bo City participated in the exercise.
Addressing participants before the exercise, National Sports Coordinator Lamin Sesay expressed appreciation to the Green Ladies and Green Men Vanguard Organisation for their willingness and enthusiasm to support the cleaning of the stadium.
Sesay encouraged the participants to take pride in their contribution to national development, noting that volunteerism is an expression of patriotism.
He said the exercise was organised through collaboration between the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Authority.
The exercise forms part of the NSA’s mandate to maintain sports facilities in a clean, safe and attractive condition while promoting community ownership of national assets.
The NSA and Ministry of Sports commended the participating youths for their commitment and encouraged other communities across the country to support efforts to maintain sports facilities and other national assets.
