Brima Lane Crowned Champions of ASSPA Inter-Community League 2025

Brima Lane Community emerged triumphant in the Approved School Sports Promoters Association (ASSPA) Inter-Community League 2025 grand final, defeating Grass Field Community 2–0 in a thrilling encounter on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

After a cagey first half, the match came to life in the second period when Sampha M. Kamara opened the scoring in the 62nd minute, sending Brima Lane fans into celebration.

Just two minutes later, star striker Musa N. Kamara popularly known as Musa Tombo doubled the lead in the 64th minute, sealing the win and confirming Brima Lane’s dominance.

The game, filled with intensity and passion, saw a few cautions handed out by the referee. Mohamed Kamara and Sallieu Tarawally of Grass Field, along with Mohamed Kolonko of Brima Lane, were all shown yellow cards for unsporting behavior.

At full time, Brima Lane celebrated their well-deserved 2–0 victory, lifting the coveted ASSPA Inter-Community League 2025 Trophy a proud moment for the community and their supporters.

The final once again showcased the vibrant spirit of grassroots football and community unity within the Approved School area.
