A forty-four-year-old building contractor, Mohamed Mansaray, alias Kolo, has been remanded in custody following an appearance before Magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh at Pademba Road Court No.5. Mansaray faces charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and housebreaking with larceny, to which a plea was not entered.
Court documents indicate that between October 1 and October 30, 2025, at Mansaray Drive, Regent Village, in the Mountain Rural District of the Western Area in Freetown, Mansaray allegedly conspired with unidentified individuals to commit an offense.
Furthermore, it is alleged that on the same dates and at the same location, Mansaray unlawfully entered the residence of Chrispin Kargbo with the intent to steal. He is accused of stealing ₦18,600, a 32-inch black plasma television, and various other items, with the total estimated value of the stolen property amounting to ₦53,900.
Upon the reading and explanation of the charges, Mansaray did not offer a plea. Prosecutor Sergeant 9906 Umu Jalloh served the defendant with the relevant legal documentation.
The defendant was not legally represented during the court proceedings.
Magistrate Gbloh denied bail and ordered Mansaray to be held at the male correctional facility in Freetown. The case has been adjourned until December 17, 2025.
