CarCRT Supports Samai Town 2 CHC with Essential Medical Supplies

The Coalition for Community Resilience and Transformation (CarCRT) demonstrated strong community support by donating assorted medical supplies to Samai Town 2 Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kenema on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
The well-attended donation program brought together key community stakeholders to witness the official presentation of medical items by CarCRT-SL.
Mr. Koromba, Chairman of the Samai Town CHC Committee, welcomed participants and expressed gratitude to CarCRT, thanking CEO Andrew Saffa Koroma for remembering his roots and supporting the health and well-being of his community.
Chief Solomon Moi, Town Chief of Samai Town, praised the organization’s commitment to giving back and commended the CHC staff for their dedication and resilience in providing essential healthcare services.
Speaking at the event, Andrew Saffa Koroma, CEO of CarCRT, reaffirmed the organization’s continuous support for the community. He highlighted ongoing developmental efforts, particularly initiatives aimed at combating drugs and substance abuse, and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties between the organization and the community.
Chief Yambasu lauded Saffa’s contributions to community development, describing him as a patriot and a “God-sent” leader. He also called on other stakeholders in political positions to emulate such initiatives.
Community Health Officer Hannah Tommy commended CarCRT for its solidarity and urged unity among stakeholders to improve the facility, including plans to fence the premises. She noted that the donations would motivate both staff and volunteers attached to the CHC.
The ceremony concluded with the official handover of the medical items, which were warmly received by community authorities and attendees.
