Cricket Sierra Leone Engages Over 16,000 Participants in Two Weeks

In a span of two weeks, Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) successfully trained 16,037 participants through its expansive Cricket 4 Schools Programme in the Western Area.

The programme, facilitated by 80 local cricket development officers, has engaged 7,696 males and 8,341 females across 64 schools. These institutions comprise 26 primary schools, 22 junior secondary schools, and 16 senior secondary schools.

Beyond the Western Area, the programme aims to reach 100,000 participants nationwide by 31st December 2025.

This objective will be achieved through cricket coaching clinics, school cricket festivals for children aged 15 and under, inter-class and inter-house school cricket competitions, and inter-primary, inter-junior, and inter-senior school cricket competitions at the district level.
