East End Lions Stage Comeback Win Against FC Kallon

East End Lions FC secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over FC Kallon in an entertaining encounter at the Approved School playing field.
The match began brightly for FC Kallon, who took an early lead through Ishmiel B. Shrieff, but the Lions quickly regrouped and fought their way back into the contest.
Innocent Emmanuel Uduk headed home a well-delivered cross from Suliman S. Kargbo to level the score just before halftime, before Idrissa Sesay struck a direct free-kick in injury time to give the Lions a 2-1 lead going into the break.
Uduk continued his fine form after the restart, completing his brace in the 54th minute by finishing off a cross from Osman Koroma to extend East End Lions’ advantage to 3-1.
FC Kallon attempted a late comeback, with Alhaji Alie Conteh converting from a cross delivered by Ben Deborah in the 84th minute to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
Despite the pressure in the closing stages, East End Lions held firm in front of a jubilant crowd to secure all three points.
The result marks a significant boost for East End Lions in the league standings, while FC Kallon will be left to rue missed opportunities and late defensive lapses. The match highlighted the Lions’ resilience and attacking efficiency as they look to build momentum in their upcoming fixtures.
