The EBEMA movement has pledged to support Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh if he is selected as the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) presidential candidate for the 2028 elections, the movement’s spokesperson Wusu Dadidda Jalloh has stated.

In a recent media interview, Jalloh confirmed that Dr. Sengeh, known for his “Radical Inclusion” policy, is already part of the EBEMA movement. He emphasized that EBEMA and the SLPP are aligned in vision and operate in tandem, describing the movement as an extension of the party’s structure rather than a separate entity.

Jalloh added that support within the SLPP will ultimately follow the party delegates’ decision, stressing that the focus is on unity and collective mobilisation ahead of the electoral process. He noted that EBEMA and the SLPP share the same objective: preparing for the next general election and presenting a unified front against the APC.

“If the SLPP concludes that Dr. Sengeh should take up the mantle of leadership, the EBEMA movement will fully rally behind him, following the direction set by the party delegates,” Jalloh said.
