FC Kallon Stage Late Comeback to Beat Old Edwardians

FC Kallon staged a dramatic late turnaround to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory over Old Edwardians FC in the Leone Rock Premier League 2026/2027 season, courtesy of a game-changing second-half performance by substitute Unisa Dumbuya.

Old Edwardians seized early control of the match when Mamadi Conde struck in the 13th minute, putting his side ahead and leaving the hosts searching for answers.

FC Kallon struggled to breach the visitors' defense for most of the match. However, the introduction of Dumbuya—popularly known as "Dybala"—at the start of the second half injected crucial dynamism into the home team's attack.

Dumbuya's persistent threat finally paid off in the 90th minute when he slotted home the equalizer, canceling out Conde's early goal and setting up a tense final period.

Spurred on by the late breakthrough, FC Kallon pressed forward in stoppage time. Their relentless pressure forced an own goal from Old Edwardians' Andrew Conteh in the 93rd minute, completing the stunning comeback.

Dumbuya was named Man of the Match for his game-altering influence off the bench, which propelled FC Kallon to all three points.
