Four Sierra Leonean football officials have been selected for key assignments at the 2026 WAFU-A Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, scheduled to take place in The Gambia.

The appointments will see the four officials represent Sierra Leone in various administrative and officiating roles during the regional competition.

Miriam Heroe, the Sierra Leone Football Association’s TMS Manager, has been appointed General Coordinator for the tournament.

Angela C. Gabidon, Secretary of the Women’s Premier League Board, has also received a regional appointment and will serve as a member of the Disciplinary Committee.

Meanwhile, Aminata Fullah has been appointed as a Referee, while Agness Gbla will serve as an Assistant Referee.

The selection of the four officials highlights the growing recognition of Sierra Leonean football administrators and match officials in regional competitions.

Their appointments also provide an opportunity to gain further international experience while contributing to the organisation and officiating of the WAFU-A Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament.

The four officials are expected to carry out their respective responsibilities with professionalism as they join football personnel from across the region in The Gambia.

Their participation is expected to further enhance the visibility of Sierra Leonean football personnel at the regional level, particularly in the areas of women’s football administration and officiating.
