Government Secondary School Wins Kenema Inter-Secondary Brass Band Competition

Government Secondary School has emerged victorious in the much-anticipated inter-secondary school brass band competition held at the Kenema City Field.
The event attracted a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators who gathered to witness a vibrant display of musical talent, creativity, and school pride. Participating schools thrilled the audience with energetic performances, each showcasing a unique style and level of artistry.
Security for the event was provided by the Sierra Leone Police Kenema Division under the leadership of the Local Unit Commander, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Emmanuel Kpulun, ensuring that the competition was conducted peacefully and without any incidents of violence.
After a series of exciting and highly competitive performances, Government Secondary School was declared winner and crowned Kenema’s Best Brass Band.
The competition highlighted the rich musical talent among secondary schools in the district while also reflecting the continued commitment of the Sierra Leone Police in maintaining peace, safety, and public order during major community events.
