"Jagaban" Unveils Ambitious Development Plan in Moyamba Visit

Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, known as "Jagaban," recently visited Moyamba District, presenting a national development agenda to supporters of the APC. His platform emphasizes tangible results and public welfare over traditional political rhetoric.

During his address, Kamara committed to personally funding the completion of the Moyamba Central Mosque. Politically, he pledged to ensure every district nationwide would have a dedicated APC party office, citing the model established in Kono.

Kamara highlighted his previous philanthropic initiatives, including establishing free healthcare clinics and paying school fees for thousands of children. He further proposed a vision for national healthcare, centered on building what he claims will be the largest hospital in West Africa to position Sierra Leone as a regional medical hub and reduce the need for citizens to seek care abroad.

Addressing the grassroots, including Okada riders and businesswomen, Kamara announced the introduction of "Jagaban Buses" to address the local transport crisis. Furthermore, he committed to donating his entire presidential salary, if elected, toward national development.

Concluding his remarks, Kamara refuted critics' suggestions that he is attempting to "buy" the party. He contrasted his approach of using personal resources for public benefit with other candidates who launch public fundraising efforts. He summarized his stance on political funding by stating, "If you nr gt money for be flag bearer, pull hand".

The visit centered on showcasing tangible results through philanthropic and developmental focus points—mosques, hospitals, transportation, and education—aimed at shifting the political discourse from promises to demonstrated action.
