Kabala Hospital Installs 16 CCTV Cameras

Kabala Government Hospital has completed the installation of 16 high-definition CCTV cameras across key areas of its facility to bolster security, track movement, and improve overall staff accountability.
The newly deployed surveillance system covers critical zones including the main entrance, maternity complex, emergency room, medical store, administration and cost recovery buildings, laboratory, and the grounds surrounding the male and female wards.
Financed entirely through internal revenue generated by the hospital, the project also included the procurement of four 43-inch Smart TVs placed in monitoring stations to maintain real-time oversight of hospital operations.
According to hospital officials, the system is designed to curb unauthorized access, limit unnecessary foot traffic, and streamline multi-departmental monitoring.
In addition to aiding investigations into potential security breaches and patient complaints, management highlighted that the initiative will ensure higher standards of duty among healthcare personnel.
Addressing privacy concerns, the hospital management emphasized that strict protocols will remain in place to safeguard patient dignity, confidentiality, and rights while operating the surveillance network.
