KaBFA Chairman and Vice Chairman Hopefuls Strengthen Grassroots Football in Kaffu Bullom

Chairman hopeful Andrew Abu Bakarr and Vice Chairman aspirant Komrabai Komson Kamara have continued their football empowerment campaign in Kaffu Bullom, demonstrating their commitment to grassroots sports development.

The two candidates visited the RC Field in Masoila on Monday, where they presented standard match balls to football teams registered under the Kaffu Bullom Football Association (KaBFA). The gesture forms part of their ongoing initiative to support and promote local football talent across the chiefdom.

Speaking during the presentation, Andrew Abu Bakarr emphasized his belief in equal opportunity and inclusivity within the game.

“We believe every registered team deserves equal support and opportunity,” he said, pledging to continue backing community clubs if elected.

Vice Chairman aspirant Komrabai Komson Kamara described football as a unifying force for social progress.

“Football is more than a game. It’s a tool for growth, peace, and unity,” Kamara stated, highlighting the role of sports in fostering community development and youth empowerment.

The event drew coaches, team captains, football enthusiasts, and local elders, who commended the duo for their dedication to uplifting the sport at the grassroots level. Many described the initiative as a sign of practical and people-centered leadership.

According to the organizers, every KaBFA-registered team will benefit from the initiative a move they say promotes fairness and inclusivity within Kaffu Bullom’s football community.

The gesture, which falls under their broader community outreach program, reflects the candidates’ shared vision of using sports as a platform for empowerment, unity, and social change.
