The East End Lions Football Club delegation received a spirited welcome upon their arrival in Kenema as they prepared for an upcoming league fixture. Large crowds of local supporters gathered at the city checkpoint to greet the players and officials, showcasing their enduring loyalty to the club.

During the reception, the leadership of the Kenema Fan Club—Chairman Mohamed Turay (Med T), Chairlady Halimatu S. Kallon, and Secretary General Musa Fayia—presented the delegation with supplies, including bottled water and assorted soft drinks, to refresh the team following their journey.

Chairman Turay used the occasion to congratulate the team on their recent victory against Mighty Blackpool in the Orange FA Cup final in Bo. He praised the players for their performance, describing the championship win as a significant moment of national pride, and encouraged the squad to maintain their fighting spirit throughout the remainder of their campaign.

Alimamy Kamara (Alemao), the Deputy Leader of the delegation, accepted the donation on behalf of Executive Chairman Anthony Navo Jr. and the club's staff. He expressed deep gratitude for the hospitality, emphasizing that such gestures from supporters remain a vital source of motivation for the players.

Kamara assured the fans that the club deeply values the support from Kenema and across the country. He concluded by thanking the supporters for their continued prayers, urging them to remain steadfast in their backing as the club pursues further success.
