The competitions took place on Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Koinadugu District Council Hall as part of the Ministry’s ongoing nationwide Civic Day Series, designed to foster civic awareness and public engagement among youth.

Winners in both divisions were awarded cash prizes ranging from Le1,000 to Le2,000, alongside Le1,000 awarded to each winning school. The top performers will represent Koinadugu at the grand final in Freetown this December.

The Civic Day Series is an initiative of MOICE aimed at promoting civic awareness and providing opportunities for citizens to engage with government policies, programmes and national issues.

The Civic Day Series continues on Tuesday with a public town hall meeting hosted by Information and Civic Education Minister Hon. Chernor Bah, offering residents a platform to dialogue with government leadership.
