Kumba Zainab Brima Joins Spanish Club Deportivo Alavés on Loan

Sierra Leone international Kumba Zainab Brima has joined Spanish side Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas on loan from Riga FC Women following a prolific goalscoring campaign in Latvia.
The 24-year-old attacker earned the move after finishing as the leading scorer in the Baltic Women’s League with 23 goals.
Brima has established herself as one of Sierra Leone’s promising attacking talents, combining strength, pace, physical presence and versatility. She can operate as a centre-forward and in other attacking positions.
Her spell with Riga FC Women also provided valuable experience on the European stage, including an appearance in the preliminary round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The move to Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas represents another significant milestone in Brima’s growing career and gives her an opportunity to compete in Spanish women’s football.
Her transfer also marks another positive development for Sierra Leone women’s football, with the Leone Star continuing to make progress on the international stage.
Brima will now look to build on her goalscoring form and make an impact during her loan spell in Spain.
