The Sierra Leone national football team have officially kicked off preparations for the upcoming FIFA Series, set to take place later this month in Azerbaijan.
The national team’s first training session featured a 26-man home-based squad, marking the start of an intensive build-up ahead of the international competition.
Head Coach Mohamed Kallon led the session alongside his technical staff, evaluating the locally based players as they compete for places in the final squad.
Early training sessions are focused on fitness, tactical drills, and building team cohesion, providing the coaching team with a clear assessment of the players’ readiness for the tournament.
The camp also offers a platform for standout performers in the domestic league to demonstrate their abilities and vie for inclusion in the final team representing Sierra Leone at the FIFA Series.
