Leone Stars Make Five Changes for Crucial Ethiopia Clash at SKD Sports Complex

The Sierra Leone national team, the Leone Stars, made five strategic changes to their squad ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia. 

Kei Kamara, Abu Diaby, Osman Kakay, Alhassan, and Tyres Fofanah are all absent in this first half. Instead, Nathaniel Jalloh, John Belili Sesay, Saidu Fofanah, Momoh I. Kamara, and Mustapha are in the starting lineup. 

The highly anticipated match takes place at the SKD Sports Complex in Liberia.

Sierra Leone currently holds a slim 1-0 advantage over Ethiopia at the SKD Sports Complex. The decisive goal came in the 37th minute, courtesy of Momoh Kamara, who capitalized on a superb assist from Tarawallie.

Kamara's Strike Gives Sierra Leone Halftime Lead

Augustus Kargbo also came close to extending Sierra Leone's lead, hitting the crossbar just before the halftime whistle, ensuring a comfortable lead for the Leone Stars going into the break.
