Lunsar Cycling Team Shines at Ride Afrique with a Podium finish


The Lunsar Cycling Team showcased significant skill at the Ride Afrique competition in Accra, Ghana, securing two top-five positions among more than 20 professional cyclists from across the African continent.


Ibrahim S. Jalloh achieved third place, demonstrating exceptional expertise and endurance, while Moses L. Kamara followed closely, finishing in fourth place.



These accomplishments highlight the emerging talent within Sierra Leone's cycling community and reflect the team's rigorous training efforts. Competing against top African cyclists underscores their increasing competence.


Ride Afrique, an annual international cycling event, fosters competition and collaboration among African nations through the sport of cycling. The team has returned to Sierra Leone, preparing for the 11th Tour de Lunsar, set for April 24th-26th in Lunsar town, where they will face competition from Nigeria, the winners of the 10th edition.
